Anything that has its advantages also comes with disadvantages (I genuinely believe it's a matter of Balance). Bitcoin is no exception of course.



Pros (advantages) of Bitcoin:

Bitcoin is decentralized, meaning no government or banking institution  can have complete control over it's infrastructural network.

Bitcoin is easily accessible over an internet connection, meaning anybody that surfs the Internet can easily come across bitcoin.

Bitcoin is readily available 24/7  three hundred and sixty 5 days a year, meaning you can access bitcoin at any given time of your convenience with ease.



Cons (disadvantages) of bitcoin:

Bitcoin does not have insurance, meaning you can lose your bitcoin funds if you lose your Digital wallet seed phrase or password.

The price of bitcoin is highly volatile rendering it an unstable currency. This means that Bitcoin's price wildly wavers based on the speculation of the market, which could either lead to massive gains or losses.

Many new investors invest a large amount at the beginning or think of running their daily expenses from Bitcoin profits after a few months of investment. I see this as a weak plan for new investors. But the problem is that many people think that Bitcoin will give you profit every month there is no such rule. The price may go up in a month, and it may stay sideways or down for a few months or a few years. But your rent, food, utility bill or family expenses will not go sideways  they have to be paid on time . This is most harmful in the accumulation stage. Because at this time you have to create a strong holding of Bitcoin and then if someone thinks of running their family with profits every month, that will not be right at all. My opinion here is that it can give you long-term opportunity, but it does not give you predictable cashflow like a monthly salary. What is your opinion on this matter?

When someone engages in gambling regularly without self-control, it can become an addiction, which can damage their personal life, family, and financial situation, as well as their mental health.



If gambling is so harmful and risky for society, then the question arises why governments in various countries are not taking more effective steps to control it and reduce the harm caused by gambling. Shouldn't stricter laws, awareness-raising, treatment and rehabilitation for addicts, and effective measures against illegal gambling be strengthened?

I don't think that there's any develop or developing country that it's minimum wage is as low of that of Nigeria 70k despite how the prices of things in the market has gone high, the minimum wage of this country can't get you a local flight ticket talk of that of international, many civil servants spend all their money before they gets to the half of the mouth.

And when liquidation is over and the market moves against their trade. They think that after finishing their liquidation, it will now go towards profit. For which reason they consider trading like gambling.



And there are some people who trade in sync with the market's movement situation and market trends and they make profits. And they analyze the market well, keep information about the market, and trade with understanding. Although someone might lose, they can correct themselves for that loss and gain some education from it. Which is useful in their next trade. And they can make a profit later. And they consider trading as trading and gambling as gambling.

Whatever will happen with this bill can have a major impact on Bitcoin and the whole of the cryptocurrency industry as well as stablecoins as its passage can be a big boost while non-passage can be a black pill putting the crypto industry on a big hill to climb.
